Let’s face it – boxing is big business. For those who have followed boxing over the years, it’s easy to see how so many boxers have become wealthy. With all of their hard work, dedication, and commitment, getting a big paycheck seems logical. However, it does take work and with the right bit of effort and branding, a boxer can make a wonderful living.

Muhammad Ali was regarded as the greatest fighter of all times. In fact, he is still considered The Greatest by millions of fans.

Because Ali was famous in his boxing days, the world has come to know Floyd Mayweather. You know Mayweather or should I say Money Making Mayweather. Considered to be the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, Mayweather knows how to promote his fights and perhaps more importantly, he knows how to make money.

Ever since his retirement, many have wondered if would return to the boxing ring. Can we be honest and say retirement does have its advantages? Well, it looks like Mayweather will be returning to the boxing ring to fight UFC favorite Connor McGregor.

Well, it looks like Mayweather will be returning to the boxing ring to fight UFC favorite Connor McGregor.

The fight is scheduled for Aug 26. The location is the MGM Grand Las Vegas.

According to a story published in Rolling Out, “Mayweather might be 40 years old, but he’s still in pristine shape and is known as one of the best training fighters today. McGregor is 28 years old, but his expertise is in an entirely different sport. MMA includes boxing and McGregor’s offensive strength is boxing, but Mayweather is undisputedly the best boxer in the world. So logically, in a boxing match, the best boxer is going to beat a fighter who’s not even the best pound-for-pound fighter in his own sport.”

At the moment, it’s unclear how much each fight will get paid. One thing for sure – Mayweather will definitely get his fair share.
