UFC 198: “Werdum vs. Miocic” takes place Sat., May 14, 2016 at Arena da Baixada stadium in Curitiba, Brazil on Pay-Per-View ($50). This is a fantastic card headlined by the Undisputed UFC Heavyweight World Champion Fabricio Werdum (20-5-1) vs #3 contender Cleveland resident and fireman Stipe Miocic (14-2). Werdum is a BJJ (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) champion and Miocic is a former Golden Gloves champion and knockout artist. Stipe looks to win gold in his first shot while Werdum wants to defend his new belt for the first time in front of a record-setting crowd.

As for betting, we’re up $416.00 in profits for a 101.46% ROI (return on investment) since April. My betting advice can be followed here, and here.

Here is the full video preview, broadcast schedule, betting odds, how to watch and predictions for select bouts. Stay tuned to BOSS for the live weigh-ins video at 3PM EST today.

PPV Main Card (10 p.m. ET)

  • Main Event: 265 lbs.: (C) Fabricio Werdum vs. #3 Stipe Miocic {Favorite -160 vs Underdog +140)
  • Co-Main Event: #2 Ronaldo Souza vs. #3 Vitor Belfort –  [Middleweight] — If Vitor has been able to juice up on steroids and testosterone in the less-regulated Brazil, he’ll score a knockout in the second round. If he looks like the old man who fought Chris Weidman, look for Jacare Souza to take it to the ground early for a choke or arm submission in round one or two. {-320 vs +260}
  • Cris Cyborg vs. Leslie Smith – [Catchweight, 140 lbs] — If Cyborg can cut down to 140 safely she wins via almost murder/Knockout {-1700 vs +1100}
  • #8 Mauricio Rua vs. #12 Corey Anderson – [Light Heavyweight] {-225 vs +185}
  • Bryan Barberena vs. Warlley Alves – [Welterweight] {-620 vs +460}

FOX Sports 1 Prelims (8 p.m. ET)

  • #6 Demian Maia vs. #8 Matt Brown – [Welterweight] — Matt Brown might be able to ward off the smothering onslaught of Maia to make things ugly in the third round. But I think not. Maia via dominant decision or 2nd round submission.
  • Yancy Medeiros vs. Francisco Trinaldo – [Lightweight] — Yancy may use his length to keep this an outside striking affair against the older vet. Yancy via split decision.
  • Nate Marquardt vs. Thiago Santos – [Middleweight] – Should be an easy one for Santos, but don’t count out Marquardt’s power, clinch and takedown game.
  • Rob Font vs. #12 John Lineker – [Bantamweight]

Fight Pass Prelims (6:30 p.m. ET)

  • #10 Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. #11 Patrick Cummins – [Light heavyweight]
  • Sergio Moraes vs. Luan Chagas – [Welterweight]
  • Renato Moicano vs. Zubaira Tukhugov – [Featherweight]
