The 2015 NBA All-Star Game begins tomorrow at the house Jay Z built, The Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The world’s number one sports apparel company, NIKE, made sure that their presence in New York City will be felt in a way not seen ever before.
In a move to promote not only its shoes, but its new app SNKRS, Nike has turned the corner of Bowery and Great Jones Street into an interactive shoe store for the NBA All-Star Weekend. The shoe store is fashioned as a giant Nike shoebox and is really a sight to see.

The store is truly a spot where the cyborworld and reality combine for a cool haven for any sneakerhead.
According to Yahoo Sports, sneakerheads will get a little insight into the design process behind their favorite Nike lines like Air Force 1, Air Max, Foamposite and Air Jordan. You can also get alerts on when their favorite shoes will drop and other perks. Serious buyers can order highly anticipated kicks right on the app and avoid having to fight the crowds at the shoe stores.
Nike has long been an innovator in the marketing of its sports apparel, but the SNKRS app is set to take Nike into the next millenium. The app will be available to everyone later in the spring.
You can personalize your shoes, get the back story of the shoe design and stay a step ahead of the shoe fashions.
As for now, its just a giant shoe box on a street corner, but they even have sneaker vending machines !
