NY Knicks Owner James Dolan Verbally Assaults Fan

By Jay Ortiz @JayOrtiz215

New York Knicks owner James Dolan was greeted by a fan outside of Madison Square Garden yelling “Sell the team!” prior to Tuesday night’s game against the Chicago Bulls. Dolan admitted to getting into the face of the fan and calling him “An A–Hole”. He also admitted to not allowing the fan into the game and claiming the fan smelled of Booze which the fan completely denies. He was recently in the news for his altercation with Charles Oakley that led to Oakley’s ban of Madison Square Garden where he alleged that maybe Oakley had a drinking problem. This is completely unacceptable for a major sports team owner to entertain a heckling fan after there has been college players and professionals suspended for these same actions. After not being reprimanded for his first incident with Oakley, it is time that Commissioner Adam Silver holds the team owners accountable for their actions. As well as, holding them as high or to an even higher standard than the players.
