LeBron James literally has the sport’s world on its ear with “The Decision 2.0”.  Will he return to the Miami Heat, where he, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade are coming off of 4 straight NBA Finals appearances or will he leave for another team?

The latest reports have LeBron James taking meetings in Las Vegas and surprisingly Chris Sheridan of Sheridan Hoops is reporting that there may be a new front runner in the LeBron James lottery:

patchin“Plugged in source says 90 percent chance @KingJames returns to , & it’ll be announced on http://lebronjames.com (Chris Sheridan’s Twitter account, @sheridanhoops)

According to ESPN’s Chris Broussard, King James and Pat Riley will be meeting today in Las Vegas and Dwyane Wade and LeBron have been spotted out and about in Vegas over the last couple of days.

“LeBron James & Dwyane Wade had dinner at LAVO in Vegas late last night with some friends before going to Marquee Night Club, a source said.” (Marc J. Spears’ Twitter account, @SpearsNBAYahoo,

Tim Reynold’s of the Associated Press also reported that James and Wade worked out in Vegas before James took meetings in an upscale hotel. (Tim Reynolds’ Twitter account, @ByTimReynolds,

Pat Riley has been telling the press that he is confident that James, Wade and Bosh will all return to the Heat.  Bosh has reportedly told the boshjamesHouston Rockets that he would prefer to return to the Heat after the Rockets’ reportedly offered Bosh a max deal of 4 years $88 million.  Bosh’s return is directly related to LeBron’s decision to return to Miami.

Sam Amico of Fox Sports reports that Kyrie Irving has joined in the wooing process of LeBron:

jameskyrie“Kyrie Irving has made recruiting pitch to LeBron James, sources say. ESPN reports Kyrie as saying Cavs will get LeBron all the help he needs” (Sam Amico’s Twitter account, @SamAmicoFSO)

Irving actually represents one thing that LeBron needs and that is a good, young point guard,  The Cavs added the stratospheric talents of Andrew Wiggins with the No. 1 pick of the 2014 NBA draft and when you throw in the possibility of James into the line-up, the Cavs look like a formidable, youthful opponent with a huge upside.

Riley has added his first two new additions to the Heat’s roster with Josh McRoberts and Danny Granger, but will this be enough to keep oldskoollebornadvertisementLeBron in South Beach?

We have to wait and see.  But the rumors have the prodigal son returning home.
