John Hennry: Should T.I. Stop Rapping?

Brooklyn rapper Troy Ave. was recently caught on surveillance video brandishing a firearm and shooting at a T.I. concert and adds another mark of violence attached to the Atlanta wordsmith.  Although T.I. had nothing to do with the shooting, he had an appearance that was cancelled the following day due to “security concerns.”  troyavesidebyside

T.I.’s childhood friend Philant Johnson was murdered in 2006 in a drive-by shooting after a performance in Cincinnati, OH, he was caught attempting to buy an arsenal of automatic weapons before the BET Awards and a list of other incidents have occurred while T.I. has been on the “frontline” so to speak.

Is it time for T.I. to step back from the microphone, or perhaps stop doing club dates?

I think so, and here are my reasons …
