Jacksonville Jaguars Celebrate First Win With Pool Party In The Stadium

Former University of Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson was drafted by the Jaguars in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft, however they labeled him an “offensive weapon” rather than a running back, wide receiver or even a quarterback.
In college, Robinson gave defenses fits as a running quarterback, earning the nickname “Shoestring”, because usually that is all defenders could even attempt to grab when he had the ball in his hands.
Until this Sunday, however, he was just holding a roster spot, spending the first 22 games of his career gaining only 168 yards as a running back. Without injured power running back Toby Gerhart in the lineup, Robinson resurrected “Showstring” and rushed for 127 yards and his first career touchdown on 22 carries in Jacksonville’s first win of the season versus the Cleveland Browns 6-24.
Robinson ‘officially’ is a wide receiver and wears the No. 16 and running backs are not allowed to wear that number, but in Week 7 Denard Robinson lived up to the Jaguars’ original assessment of him as an “offensive weapon” after all.
“The last time I carried the ball 20 times I was in college,” Robinson said, via ESPN.com. “It’s a great feeling. We knew it was coming. We’ve just got to stack them and up and get back to work.”
Robinson said his first touchdown was exciting for him.
“I saw the opening and hesitated a little bit and bounced it outside,” Robinson said, via theFlorida Times Union. “I was like, ‘I can’t get denied.’ It was my first touchdown, and it was amazing. It’s a great feeling to experience something that you’ve dreamed about your whole life. As a little kid, I thought about scoring a touchdown in the NFL and I did it.”
While most teams in the NFL are dealing with cooling temperatures and rainfall, Jacksonville and its win-starved fans were able to celebrate like any other franchises in the league .. with a pool party .. INSIDE THE STADIUM .. IN MID-OCTOBER !!!!!

I am sure the Browns were thinking about that 51° waiting for them in Cleveland as they watched fans bikini-clad fans swimming in the stadium.
