Floyd Mayweather Jr. Dines With Dictator In Russia
According to Bloody Elbow, Floyd Mayweather Jr. just had a short vacation in Moscow, Russia. Then, the 49-0 boxer traveled to visit Ramzan Kadyrov in Chechnya. Kadyrov is notorious for being the republic’s ruthless dictator.
“Mayweather was pictured dining in Kadyrov’s palace, as well as at various landmarks around the Chechen Republic. He even took selfies with Kadyrov, a controversial figure with a long list of human rights abuses to his name.
Mayweather initially ventured to the Russian Federation to attend the grand opening of a new boxing gym in Moscow, and to coach an accompanying masterclass in Moscow for ~ $86,500. Shortly thereafter, he headed to Chechnya at Kadyrov’s invitation.” – bloodyelbow.com
Floyd is certainly the most famous to be invited by Russian dictators. I’m not going to call him a human right’s violator, but Kadryov did sanction child MMA fights in his league. These Islamic Caucus rulers have a huge affinity for combat sports, and are known to gift luxury cars to fighters they like even if they’re not Russian and/or fight for a different organization. He better be careful, remember what happened to Roy Jones Jr. after he got Russian citizenship. Maybe this is why he’s down with Trump, BOSSes what do you think?
IG Translation: Dear friends! In Chechnya, at my invitation came the world champion in five weight classes, the boxing legend, not knowing the bitterness of defeats Floyd Mayweather. Together with the guest we visited the multifunctional sports complex of the club “Ahmat” in Gudermes. Mayweather got acquainted with the training process, watched the demonstration performances of boxers and fighters of the MMA, talked with the athletes. He highly appreciated the conditions created for the development of martial arts in Chechnya. The guest stayed under the pleasant impression of communicating with people and the pictures seen in Grozny, Gudermes and Argun. Floyd intends to make a repeated visit to the republic and invite a team of boxing trainers and MMA from the United States. I hope that our cooperation will be long-term and productive. I am sure that the experience of such a great athlete will be invaluable for pupils of the club
